It is no secret that Istanbul has been a worldwide known city with its natural beauties, historical and religious constructions and of course with its location as a cradle between Europe and Asia for centuries. Today we will leave no stone unturned in the wonderful sites of Old Istanbul, the unique city lining two continents together. After having breakfast, we visit the Blue Mosque (called Sultanahmet Mosque in Turkish)with its six graceful minarets, a a tomb of the founder, a madrasa and a hospice. The Mosque is known as the Blue Mosque because of the famed blue Iznik tiles surrounding the walls of interior design. Then we visit the Hippodrome, ancient Roman arena for chariot racing and the Underground Cistern, a subterranean reservoir built in Byzantine times. After lunch we visit the Topkapı Palace which is amongst the must seen places to understand the Ottoman Empire’s administration style and witness the treasures of the Empire, and the museum Haghia Sophia, the Church of The Divine Wisdom. Overnight stay in Istanbul.

Dolmabahce Palace built by Karabet Dalyan between the years 1843-1856,the court architect of Sultan Abdulmecid, The Dolmabahce Palace presents you a mixture of different European architectural styles from which you can’t take your eyes off. It contains 285 rooms, 46 halls, 6 baths,(hamam) and 68 toilets. With its glamorous, magnificent and of course original decorations, furniture, the silk carpets, curtains and so on The Dolmabahce Palace was the main administrative center of The Ottoman Empire from 1856 to 1922. It leaves behind the world’s many other famous palaces both in wealth and magnificence.

Bezm- i Alem Mosque completed by Sultan Abdulmecid the son of Bezm-i Alem Valide Sultan ,after he lost his mother, the mosque was originally backed by Bezm-i Alem Valide Sultan’s herself and also known as Dolmabahce Mosque. After completed in 1851, it was opened for prayer. For a while the mosque was used as a sea museum between 1948-1961 years. Today it is still opened for prayer.

Boat trip on the bosphorus a fascinating, unforgettable cruise between two continents Europe and Asia is awaiting you. Along the Bosphorus, the majestic strait that runs through Istanbul , the Dolmabahçe and Beylerbeyi Palaces, wooden villas and mansions up to the Rumeli Fortress will accompany you.

The Rumeli Fortress (From the sea – no interior visit) before Mehmet the Conqueror conquer the city of Istanbul, it had been captured by many other nations. But with the help of the Roman city walls it achieved to protect itself. Mehmet the Conqueror knows that truth so he wants to construct The Rumeli Fortress across The Anatolian Fortress to strenghten the defense.

The Leander’ s Towers (From the sea – no interior visit) this may be a small tower but it is attractive, awesome and fascinating. It was built on an islet at the entrance of the Bosphorus. It is one of the most important symbols of Istanbul. Used in the past as a watchtower and a lighthouse, it has been preserved in its 19th Century appearance. It is also called Maiden’s tower and evokes the feeling of romanticism with many legends about it.

Cable Car – Pierre Lotti Hill, itself was named after a French writer. Like Camlica Hill on the Asian side, Pierre Loti also has  breathtaking views over Golden Horn and beautiful Istanbul. And as a way of transport cable cars may be enjoyable for you and you can see the scenery under your feet.

City Walls is the first breach of the walls was by the Fourth Crusade in 1204, the second by the cannons and troops of Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror in 1453. Although they no longer fulfill their original defensive function, the remains makes for an excellent guided walk through an area that was once the outskirts of Constantinople and today contains some of Istanbul’s least discovered neighborhoods and sights.

Drive bus to Golden Horn has played an undeniable role in the development of the dream city Istanbul since Byzantine and Ottoman periods. Known also as Haliç in Turkish, Golden Horn is a major urban waterway and a primary inlet of Bosphorus. It’s the body of water that separates the north and south, “old” and “new” parts of European Istanbul. It is approximately 8km long, and the widest part is the entrance from the Bosphorus. Two streams drain into this inlet at its far end.
